The Metso DNA Boiler Performance Monitoring (DNA Boiler Monitoring) application calculates, stores and displays the main performance parameters that indicate the condition and operating efficiency of boilers. The calculations are based on boiler heat balance and built in accordance with DIN 1942 standard. The main result of the calculations - boiler efficiency - is calculated either by input-output method or by heat loss method, depending on the fuel burned.
The storing of history values enables long term reporting and trending of performance parameters thus helping to detect gradual changes in boiler performance.

The user interface of the application consists of customized display(s) and report(s) containing the measured and/or calculated data. All calculations are based on existing instrumentation.
